We had a fantastic day today in Scoil Eoin for our Marine Action Day. Everyone wore blue and we invited a number of guest speakers in to speak about topics such as the water cycle , Marine Biodiversity and we even had a visit from an Ornithologist from Ucc who had an amazing display of bird species. We held marine themed colouring competitions and held marine themed quizzes also for the Senior pupils - all compiled by members of our amazing Green School Committee who put in Trojan work in the preparations . Our Scoil Eoin choir topped off our Blue Assembly with a beautiful rendition of a Green Schools themed song called The Splendour of the earth. Well done all.
