The Senior Infant pupils have enjoyed gardening classes over the past three weeks with horticulturalist, Ann MacSeoin. They learned about the five essentials for plant growth-pot, soil, seeds, sun and water. Everyone got a tulip and some aster seeds in a pot. This was companion planting. The green house was where the seeds germinated and the pupils made observations over the past three weeks. They each had a pot going home and will continue to see the progression of their plants. It was a wonderful end to a busy term and we appreciate Ann coming in and sharing her expertise.
