Well-Being

Home > School > Well-Being

“Well-being means feeling good and strong in our minds and bodies, having energy, getting along with and helping others, knowing our strengths and feeling proud because we are doing our best. It means we can cope with the little problems and disappointments of life. It means enjoying life, being grateful for what we have and accepting ourselves just as we are.” Weaving Well-being Fiona Forman & Mick Rock

In Scoil Eoin, we nurture the well-being of all the children in our care and help them to reach their full potential.

To help us achieve this we use the following programmes:

  • Stay Safe
  • Walk Tall
  • Weaving Well-Being
  • Relationships & Sexuality Education

In addition we engage with the following initiatives:

  • Active Flag
  • Webwise
  • Food Dudes
  • Focus Months eg. Friendship, Healthy Eating
  • Garda Support Programme
  • HSE Supports & Programmes
  • Internet Safety Workshops

We also liaise with National Educational Psychological Services (NEPS) personnel, who provide support and programmes for pupils with particular needs and challenges.
