Dear parents & guardians,
I hope you and your families are safe & well. Here are a few important items of information for you as we prepare to begin term 3 in Scoil Eoin.
Scoil Eoin Website and App
We are delighted to announce that our new website www.innishannonschool.com is now live. You will find instructions on how to download the Scoil Eoin App there. Please do this as we will be using the App as a means of communication during school closure.
Collection of School Books from Scoil Eoin
Over the coming weeks your children will need the books & copies which are still in school to complete the work assigned to them by their teachers for as long as the school closure continues.
To facilitate safe collection teachers have placed each child’s books in a bag labelled with their name at the front of their classroom.
Scoil Eoin classrooms will be open on Monday, 20th and Tuesday 21st April from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Access to school will be confined to one adult per family.
A one-way system will be in operation to facilitate social distancing. This will operate as follows:
Junior building: Junior & Senior Infants enter through front door & exit through emergency escape doors.
Middle building, new classrooms & prefab: 3rd to 6th classes enter through main front door & exit through Mr Crowley’s door or from back of school.
Old school building: 1st and 2nd classes enter through door to reception & exit through door near upper gate.
If there is another person in the classroom wait outside at an appropriate distance. Then enter the classroom, pick up the labelled bag and leave.
Attention Junior Infant Classes
Please return the three library books in the folder which was sent home in March. Leave them in the classroom when you collect your labelled bag of school books.
