Dear Parents & Guardians,
As we face into another week of everyone doing all in their power to maintain some semblance of continuity in delivery of the primary school curriculum, the Scoil Eoin staff will continue their work to guide & support you.
Almost every family has downloaded the Scoil Eoin App which is constantly being updated with relevant news & suggested class work for all classes as well as general activities for all the family.
We are conscious of the fact that every home faces challenges at this time, from parents working from home or on the front line to poor broadband connectivity & everything in between. While we appreciate your efforts to engage with your children’s work, we do not want it to cause further pressure in an already difficult situation. I can assure you that a comprehensive revision programme will be put in place for all once schools re- open.
In the meantime, suggested work will continue to be posted on the web site & on the school app. The school email [email protected] continues to be available to parents who wish to contact any of the teachers.
This week we will also introduce means by which parents & pupils can make direct contact with their teacher & send queries, request help & get work corrected.
The teachers of Junior Infants & Senior Infants have set up designated email accounts. Messages will be dealt with during school hours.
Teachers from 1st to 6th class will be offering Seesaw as a means of communication.
Engagement with Seesaw is at the discretion of each family. If you choose not to participate your children will not be disadvantaged in their educational outcomes. Work may be submitted via this platform. More information on Seesaw to follow.
